Council is offering free microchipping to currently registered dogs and approved cats on Saturday 13 January between 8-11 am. The event will take place at Riverway, between the lagoon and the stadium, and will involve a sausage sizzle and stalls.

Bookings for this event are not required.

Microchipping your pet greatly increases the chances of you reuniting with them if they become lost. Kittens and puppies must be at least 8 weeks old to be microchipped.

If your pet is unregistered with council, on the spot registrations will be available for a fee. All dogs must be on leads and cats must be in cages.
